Yup, that's true, it's totally not worth it if you're only on the plane for a couple of hours. I flew MCI-ATL on a 757 back in August and the seat was really comfortable, but we only got snack mix. The YX flight (coach price) was departing at the same time and those pax normally got pancakes and sausage. So it's totally up to you!!!
