How much does an airbridge cost?

I hope this hasn't been posted before, but does anyone know the approximate cost of buying and then operating a jetway/airbridge. Not that I'm planning to buy one off e-bay, but I recently read that some Australian airports charge airlines about $1 per passenger specifically for airbridge use.

My question stems from the building of the new terminal at Adelaide Airport. They were hoping to save money by having less airbridges. Would it make THAT much difference?

The upgrade at Kansas City budgets $25 Million for jetbridges according to their website, divide that by 90 (number of gates), and it comes down to $277,000 per jet bridge!! Damn that's expensive. They have power hookups and P/C air attachments, so i guess that's part of the reason.
