Yeah, that plane, the initial 757 prototype has all this test equipment. I think the 767 prototype also has similar experimental machinery of a different nature installed.

You want funny looking 757, look at the -300!

I agree, I never really liked the looks of the 753.

              The test one looks funny.
"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

                Hi,
I think the 757-300 looks great, especially in Icelandair's, Thomas Cooks and jmc AIR's liveries.

                Thanks

What this 75 is currently doing is testing the wing and nose cone for the f-22.

I like the 753 precisely because it is lanky (good word for it). I always liked the DC-8 60s and 70s for the same reason: Long planes look good in my opinion!

And as for the tall stance, that's part of what made Concord so cool - looks insect-like in my opinion (the 757's not that cool, but it has a little bit of the same appeal going):

lanky means it's length is not in good proportion to its width and height...I like long planes...like 773 and 346!
