Airbus launches 1 billion € cash savings plan

Hi,
European aircraft maker, Airbus said on Wednesday that it had launched a new plan to save about one billion euros in cash this year. Airbus Chairman Noel Forgeard said at the plan was on top of a 1.5 billion euro cost savings plan announced several months ago.

He said the cash savings plan was designed to prepare the company in the event of a further deterioration in market conditions and potential delays in jet deliveries.
