  • ATTENTION! Millville Airshow Coming Up In 2 Weeks!

    It looks as though the Millville Airshow will replace the NAVY Lakehurst show... God knows why they cancelled that one. So! All you NY and Phili and Washington people have no reason not to attend. It's held in Southern New Jersey about 1.5 hours away from the major cities.

    Driving Directions to Millville Airport

    Please note that Millville will be utilizing remote parking after the airport lots are full. Please follow the signs and directions posted for remote parking. Busing will be available for remote parking.

    From Philadelphia:

    Take Rt. 42 South to the Rt. 55 exit. Route 55 South approx. 35 miles to exit 27 (Route 47). Route 47 South (towards the right) to second light and veer towards the right (High Street). High Street South (keeping left at next intersection) to Route 49/Main Street (5 traffic lights). Right onto Route 49 westbound. Turn left at yellow blinker and continue straight through next traffic light. Millville Airport access road is approximately 3 miles on left. Follow signs to Millville Airport.

    From New York:

    New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 2 (Rt. 322). Route 322 East to the Rt. 55 exit. Route 55 South approx. 35 miles to exit 27 (Route 47). Route 47 South (towards the right) to second light and veer towards the right (High Street). High Street South (keeping left at next intersection) to Route
    49/Main Street (5 traffic lights). Right onto Route 49 westbound. Turn left at yellow blinker and continue straight through next traffic light. Millville Airport access road is approximately 3 miles on left. Follow signs to Millville Airport.

    From Atlantic City:

    Route 322/40 West to County Route 552 (2nd light at Coastal Gas station after Route 50 Junction in Mays Landing). Left onto 552. 552 West into Millville. Turn Left at light 1/4 mile West of overpass onto Wade Boulevard. Wade Blvd. South to Main Street (Route 49 - first light) Right onto Rt. 49 Westbound. Route 49 West through 5 traffic lights to yellow blinker just over Maurice River bridge (Cedar Street). Left onto Cedar Street and continue straight through next traffic light. Millville Airport access road is approximately 3 miles on left. Follow signs to Millville Airport.

    From Delaware:

    Exit at Rt. 40 South (Atlantic City). Route 40 East to the Rt. 55 exit. Route 55 South approx. 35 miles to exit 27 (Route 47). Route 47 South (towards the right) to second light and veer towards the right (High Street). High Street South (keeping left at next intersection) to Route 49/Main Street (5 traffic lights). Right onto Route 49 westbound. Turn left at yellow blinker and continue straight through next traffic light. Millville Airport access road is approximately 3 miles on left. Follow signs to Millville Airport.



    Aircraft Arrival Procedures
    Please note that Millville Airport (MIV) is controlled by the Millville Flight Service Station on 123.65 Mhz and 255.4 Mhz. All aircraft approaching within 5 NM of the airport should be talking with Millville FSS prior to entering the airspace around Millville Airport.

    AIRPORT CLOSES AT 0800L DURING SHOW DATES!

    Fly-In aircraft must be on the ground and parked no later than 0800L at the Millville Airport on Saturday and Sunday. All flight landings will take place on these days until 0800L by Millville FSS on 123.65 Mhz. Fly-In departures will be coordinated by the airboss on 132.95 Mhz for departure after the airshow until 1800L each day.

    Traffic Pattern altitude: 1200 ft. AGL / 1285 ft. MSL TPA LIGHT ACFT 800 FT MSL (715 FT AGL); TPA HEAVY ACFT 1200 FT MSL (1115 FT AGL).

    The main runways at Millville are 10/28 (6002 ft. long) and 14/32 (5057 ft. long). All taxiways are expected to be open during the event. Our primary runway will be 10/28 as we will be utilizing 14/32 as an additional taxiway for arriving aircraft and for show aircraft.

    Once you have landed at the airport, Millville FSS will hand you off to Airshow Ground on 118.7 Mhz or 238.15 Mhz for parking instructions. Please remain this Ground Frequency for the remainder of your taxi unless instructed by the Airboss.

    The airport will be closed for 5NM Radius of the airport from the surface to 15,000 ft. AGL during the following periods and a TFR will be in place for this area during these times.:

    I've never seen the Blue Angels...but the Snow Birds are pretty cool!

      Blue Angels are great. I've seen them doing their flyover for Navy graduation and I've seen the show they do in front of the academy...I can see it from my house. Once one roared over my house at 1000ft. it was cool.
