    I think it will probably affect the hubs only. IND still has several destinations to add this year.

      Smart move. Limiting/cutting domestic capacity is one of the best things US carriers can do (besides raising prices).

        United made the move last year, now NW, hopefully others will do the same. It is so stupid to have as much overcapacity as America does now, espeically with the price structures of legacies.

          Only United moved the capacity it cut to help expand international service since that is where the profits are. It doesnt say that Northwest will do that anywhere in the article. That leads to another question. What will NW do with the extra aircraft that will be available.

            Doesnt say that wont expand into new routes, but possibly cut the capacity on over served markets.
