Allegiant announces its first city from Sanford / Orlando
Dude, is Oklahoma City ever the first city to be included in an airline's expansion phase? Still though, as Humberside pointed out, there are more cities to be added. So keep your fingers crossed.
It didn't work because TMA scheduled flights at 2:00a.m. in the morning. And not just one, both the Orlando and Las Vegas flights had atleast the departure or arrival time at that unusual hour. And the OKC market's not freindly to red-eyes.
Also, Allegiant's flights between LAS and OKC are doing very well. I wouldn't be surprised if in fact it does start flights between OKC and SFB.
A win-win for both Sanford and Allegiant, which does not hesitate to bet on the sun-seeker. For Allegiant which flies on neatly streamlined costs without sacrifying operational efficiency, Sanford is surely a much better choice than MCO.
