Interesting new routes, but certainly not suprising, given FL's successful history at both CAK and FNT. I'd guess that LAS-PHF is probably next.

Id imagine NW would have something to say about the FNT service.

The fact that FL has seen constant growth there, and is basically copying their network developement at CAK. I could also ask the counterquestion of what made FNT an outstanding candidate for LAS service over other cities.

Remember that at the beginning of this year FL said that they were going to announce 6 new cities/routes? Have they announced all 6? DO these count?
Whatever is necessary, is never unwise.

It was new 6 cities, so new service between exsisting AirTran cities doesn't count.. FL has been saying the last few years that they were going to add more point to point service that bypasses ATL completely.
