Remember before the 787 was given that designation, Boeing's CEO stated that "7E7" couls stay as the title. In all reality after they run out of numbers and we all know that Boeing loves using the "7" then letters seem logical. Maybe we could expect to see 7A7 or 7L7?
Thank you! At least someone ain't critisizing me! Of course it's an interesting question!

808 would be my stab in the dark.
THE VOICE OF REASON HAS SPOKEN!
Pop quiz: Which US president said, "Saddam Hussein has spent the better part of this decade, and much of his nation's wealth, not on providing for the Iraqi people, but on developing nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them."
George W. Bush is not correct. It was Bill Clinton in his 1998 State of the Union speech. HMMMMMMMMM.

A little bird told me the following fact
Once upon a time there was the
              247 then
              307 then
              314 then
              377 then
              707-717-720-727-737-747-757-767-777-787
To the exceptions of the 314 Yankee Clipper and the Seven Twenty, the liitle bird told me to notice all final figure to be the "Lucky Seven" so next to the 797, simply expect to hear of the 807

Well, the 807 is the logical answer, it fits too, 807, 817, 827 etc

My best friend's sister's dad's uncle works for Boeing and said after the 797, Boeing will make no more new planes since they have run out of numbers.

I heard they're gonna start making porta-potties. Starting with model number 0.7

Because when they built the 707 it was the 707th design made.

Exactly. If you ever decided to look at the names givin to Boeing acft, youll notice there always a multiple of 7, add or subtract to make 7, have 7 in them. For the Add or subtract, It wont or will give you 7, or maby a number with 7 in it.

                        like the B-52

                        5+2=7.

I presume the Next Boeing plane will have 2 or 3 numbers that add, multiply, or subtract, or even devide to give you 7 or a number with 7 in it.
