If I had the reg, there wouldn't be a problem. Its that it came to land here and as it was approaching, I quickly took a shot of it out the window before it went behind the trees. Then I went over to the airport as fast as I could, but it was already to late. It just let some passengers off and left as fast as it came.

I see. Im no helicopter expert unfortunately. Maybe if you searched the type, one would come up in similar colors?

I think it says "Canada" over the windows so this must be a governmental helicopter. Maybe Police or Mountain Rescue or Boarder Guard ?

It looks almost like a CHC logo, but the livery is nothing like the CHC scheme.

Well in Nelson there is High Terrain Helicopters, Dam Helicopters and Thunderbird Helicopters. Also there is Tech Helicopters Pilot Training School.

Since it's 2:20 am I couldn't call any of them. This isn't operated by the police and our border services do not operate any acft.

The registration is under the pilot's door.

Dude, it looks like an american Copter because of the flag type design and colors.

is it really worth all the work to find out who operates a heli in a pic that is way beyond repair? just wondering. i mean i've looked for about 2 hours to find it to no avail.
