  • A380 Comes to BDL

Well, BDL is probably that last place anyone would have expected to see an A380, but lo and behold, miracles do happen.

Doesn't P&W have facilities in the Hartford area? I believe that's why they brought the A380 through. CVG is the next stop.

Yeah, that's the reason. But still it was a nice surprise when I heard about this like a month or 2 ago.

They had only planned these three US airports for now as it will be moving on to Asia around Oct. 8th on its technical route proving tour. But hang on there, if you can't catch it this time, get it next time as it will return to North America, The lucky airport is Vancouver YVR, it will arrive between Oct. 17th- 18th.

Must be quite a change from the slew of MadDogs and A320s at BDL . Though it will probably be even more extreme at CVG. 75 CRJs, and amongst them 1 A380 - spot the odd one out .

Oh yeah, forget them, they really dwarf the A380 .
