"...no, the white zone is for loading and unloading of passengers only...
...listen Betty, don't start with your white zone s**t again!"

"I just want to tell you both 'good luck'...we're all counting on you."

Behind "Blazing Saddles," this is the funniest movie ever made!!

        Funnywise - Airplane.

Bestwise - IT's gotta be Memphis Belle. Absolutely superb. I saw it for the third time 2 weeks back. That's one hell of an amazing movie.
"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

No, I think that's the best line in the movie!

For those that saw the results of the poll, I'm the guy that voted for Passenger 57. The use of the L-1011 swayed my vote a bit, although it's a good movie. 2nd place would be a tie between "Pushing Tin" and "Airplane!"

            Re:

I know it's not in the survey, but how 'bout "A Thousand Heroes"? Pretty realistic and makes us wonder how the pax felt on that plane.

Anyone ever seen Zero Hour!? I saw it on AMC a few weeks ago and It looks like thats what Airplane! was based on. It was from the 40s or 50s maybe, they looked to be on a DC-6... But there was the whole thing about the chicken and the fish... and of course, all the people who know how to fly the plane eat the fish... I only watched a bit of it though because it was late and i was tired.
