AC converts 4 A320's for Sports teams

Air Canada is planning to convert 4 x CP A320's to 60J for carrying sports teams. We are waiting to hear which teams will be travelling (look for Canadian hockey teams to start). They are planning to use fins 402, 403, 404 and 405.

The seats will be the "Millenium" seats from CAIL's business class. The seats have been in storage.

One aircraft will probably be for the Expos to fly them to their home games in San Juan !

are they going to paint them with the AC Jetz logo in the front. Real good idea though. Alot more room for the sports teams equipment

Interesting news, as these are all Tango aircraft. Does this mean possibly the beginning of the end for Tango A320's? Or is this just to trim down the Tango A320 fleet while Air Canada replaces the 737's?

Slightly off topic, does this give Zip a better shot of possibly flying into YYZ or even YHM now that there will be less Tango A320's?

Look for Tango to slowly disappear. With the new pricing plan for AC Tango is becoming irrevelant. Too bad though, I like the purple paint job.

I haven't heard of ZIP coming any further east, but you never know.

Yes there are only 4 B732's in AC's fleet today and they will be leaving soon. The A320's are coming from TANGO's fleet
