    773 = 777-300
    77w = 777-300er
    -Not an Airbus or Boeing guy here.
    -20 year veteran on the USN Lockheed P-3 Orion.

      773 is the basic 777-300 and 77W is the 777-300ER.

          From a spotter's perspective, the "w" means "raked Wingtips", as Boeing calles them, though you usually see them only from rather close range.
