  • Thunderbird Crash!

I just saw on Headline News about a USAF Thunderbird that crashed Sunday in the midwest (USA) during an airshow in front of a crowd of 85,000 after takeoff. I didn't get any specific stats but they said he pitched straight up and then came down, tried to flare and the F-16 just fell out of the air on flare and smacked on the ground errupting into a fabulous fireball! The pilot ejected seconds to impact and survived with only minor injuries...

Was one of the singles. I think both teams have learned that lesson! DON'T follow the leader into the ground....
