New Delta Pink Plane...

Most of y'all are familiar with the Pink Breast Cancer Awareness 757 that has been flying for years, well this year it is being replaced...The 757 is scheduled to be repainted in the new Delta livery and its replacement will be a 767-400 ship N845MH...the 767 is scheduled for painting on 25May10...

The paint job will be different then the current one...on the 767, the underbelly will be pink and the tail will be pink with a pink widget - the forward logo will the standard red widget and blue Delta and below will be the phrase "Force for Global Good"

According to Widgetheads, N845MH (Ship 1821) is a 76C with the old recliner seats, not one of the LHR dedicated birds.

Hello.

I've a question: Why isn't Delta flying to Luxembourg? That would be nice, and they could have more capacity for exemple from Detroit lo AMS and LUX without any 'via". Delta is flying in codeshare to LUX, with KLMCityhopper.

To see a regular Delta plane in Lux would be nice nicer, the nicest.....

I think we have seen the last of ship 610 in the pink livery...She is currently in Hanger 11 in ATL which is one of the hangers they use for paint and other maintenance...I cant find my buddy to get confirmation if she is getting painted now or just a regular maintenance check-up..

Also to clarify a rumor on the other website...Ship 610 is not leased it is owned, purchased by Delta on 06/28/85...

Just a little update...N845MH (ship 1821) is in the paint hanger in ATL...scheduled in the hanger until the end of May...

Ship 1821 is due out of the hanger in ATL today or tomorrow and the first revenue flilght is scehduled for DL72 01jun JFK-IST and DL73 02jun IST-JFK

no Ferry info yet on the flight from ATL-JFK
