  • You were born right after WWII, if this include period until 1951,
You merged with a domestic airline
Your loyalty to Everett is so staunch, to the extent that Airbuses in your colors show up by accident, i.e the afore mentioned merger.
    So I think you are
    Japan Air Lines
Who in fact absorbed Japan Air System in order to double your market share in your home country
Sure, you used to be Boeing's best customer for the 747 with more than 100 delivered since 1970.
You are so allergetic to Airbuses that the first ones to appear in your colors can be termed as future-former JAS fleet member. No problem you took care not to let one show up with your former legendary Tsuru tail logo
How do you think of this ? Que piensas ?
    Regards
    Alain

    • Here's a relatively easy one

      1. I only operate 737's.
      2. I just recently added winglets to my next generation 737s.
      3. I am a low cost carrier.
      4. I operate flights throughout only one country.
      5. It's not the United States.

      Who am I?

      • I may be GOL of Brasil.
Correct me if I'm wrong !

          • Ok FLLman u can be right with JetBlue and WestJet, did not think of them.
            Another one
1 - I am a prominent carrier of my area,
2 - I don't tell of the latter, but I was never late in adding up to date equipement in my fleet , DC.7 in '53, 707 just a few months behind big boys such as AF, LH and more, 742s in due time, A.300B as soon as in '76 and things keep going that way.
3- I carved and keep carving a niche as an unquestionable long-haul expert.
            Who am I ?
            Regards
            Alain

                  • Guess the Airline!

                    I have another one:

                    I don't exist anymore.
My main hub used to be in competition with one of the Big 6.
An LCC has now taken my spot at that airport.
One, if not the, reason for ma failure was the Most Hated Man In Aviation.

Good luck (I think it's pretty easy).

                      • Yet another airline:

                        1) I was founded as a national airline, but now I'm a group of regional airlines.

                        2) I've taken over my region's national airlines, but one, which was taken over by an US airline.

                        3) I don't provide transatlantic service.

                        • Guess the Airline!

                          Exactly, Flying High
                          As for your airline:
Grupo Taca, made up of Taca, Nica, LACSA and some others I don't remember. The airline taken over by a US airline would be Copa, taken over by CO.
