  • Taiwan's CI A340 hit runway light at ICN, debris broke tire and fuselage (w/ photo)

    From Appledaily Taiwan:

Two days ago, a China Airlines A340-300 flying flight CI 160 from Taipei to Seoul ICN was found to have a broken tire and a 15cm cut on the fuselage. Further investigation by Korea believes that it is caused by the aircraft hitting runway light when it landed and the debris of the light cut through the fuselage and the tire.

    Why

Why do Chinese always wear too-short white gloves when doing mechanical things ?

Its like wearing a tuxedo with brown shoes.

I flew out of ICN last weekend.

All of the ground crew were wearing these gloves. In fact, I was installing a new exhibit at national museum, and these gloves were provided for us.

Better looking in a photo than black grease under the fingernails anyway.
