  • Looking for the registration of this US Army CH47

    Hello admin and fellows!

    Recently spotted a US Army CH47 in Sydney, however, the registration is invisible on the aircraft body (with reg.12) as in the attachment.

    I'm wondering can anyone provide the detail of the helicopter?

    Looks like a MH-47G. But seems to have no visible nr.

    looks like USAR is following USAF in hiding nrs...

      Seems to be a 160th SOAR MH-47G. The reg on those is placed on the top-rear of the tail rotor assembly. In your photo it is unfortunately just barely visible, due to the shadow of the rotor blades itself:

      Maybe you can see it in the original shot or any other follow up shots?
