Originally posted by BA747-436Its not entirely about how long you spend on it, its more how you make it. Well for me anyway. I find in bars they never put enough mint/limes in. Its always abit to weak or overpoweringly tasting of bacardi. (By the way you top it off with soda water). In this one bar i went to in Italy i asked for a Mojito and they guy comes back with a tall glass with no limes/lime in it, 3 ice cubes, 1 mint leaf and a shot of bacardi. I honestly couldnt drink it. And considering it cost close to $15 USD (Had a pre-dinner drink at a very nice hotel overlooking the bay of Naples) I sent it back (which i never do). The waiter then admits that the bar man wasnt even there so he had to make it himself from the photo on the menu. Errrrrrrrrrr yeah, great. lolInactive from May 1 2009.
