    Hi, could someone please help me to understand how to properly read this histogram and just a histogram in general.

    Your histogram looks pretty acceptable but it just means the photo is exposed properly. Please remember that if the light is bad, like on a dull day, you might get a decent histogram in terms of how you handled the exposure, still it doesn't mean the photo would always be acceptable to upload. The histogram shows you didn't make any bad exposure errors, that's there's a lot of mid tones but we can't say more without looking at the image
