  • Obviously I chose the wrong day for spotting, but how about them?
    Thanks.
Please try to ignore the watermarks, thanks

    • Okay, this was not the nicest of days for an open day but I grabbed these:
I'm not sure how compatible they would be...

      Ground clutter?

      Would this be acceptable?

      And once again...?

I would hope that the captain's hand would be acceptable?

I like both of them cause they show slightly different things but are they too similar?

      Thanks in advance,
      ZK-TUI

Note: I did not copy PMN, I am in fact obsessed with both (ask anyone who knows me and they would confirm that I talk constantly about these things

        • Need help with this shot

          Hi Screeners,

I need your help to let me know the info for this shot to be uploaded on to the world's largest aviation database

          1.

Should this shot be uploaded as "Ramp" & "Airport" or do I need to upload it as "N396NS" & "Airport"? Because you can the entire ramp in the picture but the highlight is on the N396NS here! Could you please clarify me on the field info?

          Thanks,
          Sriram Hariharan

          • Very easy: the main subject is the aircraft, not the ramp. So, upload only with the aircraft infos.

They all need to be leveled, the verticals in the back lean to the right (some more than others).
No. 4 needs a tighter crop, too much dead space on the left.
no.5 has a too tight crop, the nose it cut off, give it some room on the left.

              cheers, Pamela

first: no clutter, looks OK to me
no 2: i am missing a motive here
                no.3: looks OK to me
no.4: captains hand is not a problem per se, however instruments are out of focus, that is a problem
no.5: would indeed be similar to no.4, quality is better imo, only needs a tad leveling (it leans to the right). I suggest you upload this one instead of no.4

                cheers, Pamela

They are all soft and dark I am afraid.

                        • I give it another try, how about the two? I am really really having troubles with this shot (LHR) and I think it's a really nice one. KLM 744? Thanks

Not sure what you want to show in the first 2, tower? Anyways, they have compression artifacts and seem to be backlit.
The trail shot doesn't have the quality (soft/blurred, noisy, lacks contrast).

                              cheers, Pamela
