Also, the first would be an obstruction rejection, and in the future, please post the photos here before submitting to the queue, as this is a pre-screening thread.
      Hi dlowwa,

Can you tell me how you did that? When I make the photo lighter, the tail of the plane becomes so unbearably bright that it hurts my eyes. Which tool did you use (in Photoshop)?

      Thanks,

      Hinkelbein

A bit soft and dark, but might be salvageable.

From the top menu bar: Image -> Adjustments -> Brightness/Contrast

              • Hello!

Just a quick question: is the use of graduated filter allowed or is it considered digital manipulation? Thanks! Lorenzo

                • Your attachments are not working, but using ANY filters are not allowed and will be considered as manipulation.

There's a very slight blue tint on the first two, but I'd accept all three if you submitted them as they are.

                            Hi dlowwa,

I've been fooling around a bit with Brightness/Contrast a little. Question: do you apply this step to adjust the Luminosity diagram, or do you adjust the Luminosity diagram first (with help of the Histogram) and afterwards apply Brightness/Contrast?

                            Comment

                            • Adjust the histogram graph and then use brightness/contrast if needed. You may however need to adjust the midtones of the graph rather than brightness.
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !
