      There are two main problems:

      1. the poor light is affecting the contrast/color. Shooting on such cloudy days will always make it more difficult to get results that are acceptable for JP.
      2. you are too far away from the subject. The aircraft only fills up a small part of the frame, so you need to do a large amount of cropping. This ends up showing the flaws in the image (softness, noise) much more easily.

So your solutions are a) to shoot when the weather/light is better, and b) to get yourself closer to the subject (or use a lens that will accomplish the same thing).
okay thank you for your time dlowwa

Thanks for the pre-screen. I did see the slight glare, any idea on how to get rid of it or is it lost cause?

Many Thanks for you suggestion! I will try this and post the result!

Many thanks! I will correct and post again

First is ok, second is soft, and third too dark.

Looks to me as though you had something on the front of your lens. No way to fix that, I'm afraid.

No, looks quite awkward to me.

You can sometimes find a list of serial numbers related to each season's team; in this case you'd be looking for 2017 #7 serial. The image is lacking in contrast and a bit blue, however.

Soft, and heat distortion is noticeable.

                          • Hi there, would greatly appreciate any feedback on both images. The AAL 737 was pre-screened on this thread before and I was told it had some noise, although I have tried to reduce that. Thank you!
