What is the best way to sharpen with USM, before or after image sizing?

Sharpening looks ok, but they all have a slight yellow cast.

What is the best way to sharpen with USM, before or after image sizing?

You will not find agreement on that I think. Some prefer before, some after, though I think the majority are in the latter group.

Slight softness overall, and borderline crop on the third. Other than that, no major issues.

Heat haze is noticeable on all three, and the contrast is a bit harsh. First and second would be considered similar.

First three have severe contrast & exposure problems. Last two are better, though fourth is quite noisy, and both would be better at a smaller size than 1920.
