1. https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=8253049. Do i need to add sharpening to the whole plane or only the decals? I felt angle of the shot is giving the decals a soft look. Any suggestion on improving contrast would also be very helpful

Sharpness actually looks ok to me, and the contrast is just a bit flat. On the other hand.. not a fan of the crop, and the horizon looks off, so best I can tell you is there's some subjective disagreement happening
What can i use as reference the verticals? The runway is slightly sloped and i had used the references shown in the attached pic.
Pretty much everything is leaning right on this one, so I'd have to agree CCW rotation is needed. Using the grid like that on such a small area of the frame is going to make pretty much anything look straight, so best not to rely on that.
Can i please get some suggestions on this reject - https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=8393556? I agree that the background is definitely heat hazed, but i used the lines and fuselage of the SR22 and they don't look distorted by the heat.

Have a nice day!

In fact they do, the leading edge of the wings are hardly what I would consider straight - and that's due to heat haze.
Will rework the exposure from scratch but did not understand the 'obstruction' since no part of the aircraft is obstructed - https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=8424271. It is the horizontal stabilizer from a MD-11 parked next to it.

Dang!!! My apologies Dana. Its the wing of the other plane obstructing the nose and overlaying exactly over the cheat line. During processing, i was looking only at the horizontal stabilizer jutting out at the top, but not obstructing the aircraft. Never realized that there was a culprit wing as well, till you mentioned it.
Can i get some help understanding the heat distortion rejection in Aviation photos - 4 million+ on JetPhotos, so as to avoid similar uploads in the future. The far background is heat distorted but the runway the plane is taxing on was not. I used the under belly line and NLG as reference.

Something is happening with the US Air Force titles near the nose and the roundel near the tail. If not heat haze, then something else? Can you post a 100% crop of one of those areas? I could tell you perhaps what the issue might be.
