Electra and P-3 are the same plane? I never knew that! Anyways my vote goes for KC-10. By far my favorite plane.

Yes, they are one and the same, but that was actually the second Electra Lockheed produced, the first being a smaller twin from the 1930's. Commercially the 1950s era Electra was a failure, as everyone wanted to fly pure jets, and the early aircraft had an unfortunate tendancy to shed wings in flight, but the whole program was salvaged when they convinced the USN and later others to buy the P3, which was produced long after the last Electra was delivered in 1961.
