      I wouldn't exactly call Southeast ( www.flyseal.com ) a short-lived airline ... they were around from 1998 - November, 2004. Now if only I could've used those damn frequent flier points ...

Prior to resurrection as today's low fare, original German Wings
was a full all business service airline which
                      -traded in 1988/1990
                      -was based Munich-Riem (now closed)
                      -operated 3/4 MD83s
                      -configurated as single C class ; 2 leather seats/row.
                      -inflight service was fantastic
But, and this took a toll ....
                      -frequencies were LOW
-one of the two flights of the day with an enroute stop at Cologne
-not constant when setting up the schedules from one season to another, too many changes.
                      list goes on

Well their program worked differently ... basically like a coffee-house free coffee system(I think it was like 4 RT's or 5 RT's and you got a free RT). I needed one more round trip flight to get a free round trip, and I was planning on taking one next month, but they went out and I booked on Southwest instead.
