Such a shame i cant get to any of those airports myself, look forward to seeing many pictures. Glad to see Zurich and Vienna made the list for a visit, just sad to see they didnt send one to MAN (but then why would they).

Well... I hope that some forum members will join this tour. I don't know if I can be there, this has to be ensured until next thursday.

Yes, we definitely need pictures. And I guess we'll get some before the start of soccer world cup, maybe 1 or 2 .

Well, I could have gone to see it at HAM. But then again, I've seen it at XFW a few times, so it wouldn't have been a new sight anyway.

Is this really a promotion tour? I thought they fly these routes for crew training...!?
            greetings,

Yes, but here we only see very few a/c with four engines. So some people wanted to see this special one at their home airport.

I think it's both. It's good to fly as many happy landings as possible with a new a/c type before you open the a/c-doors to the public.
And on June 3rd, some people wanted to photograph these landings. So it was almost a spotter's normal day, except for the weather, which was quite brilliant.

D-AIMA will be in LEJ today and tomorrow from what I've heard. Actually it should be in LEJ right now.
Will be back in FRA in the afternoon.
