MONTREAL -- A flight from Paris to Mexico was rerouted to Montreal Sunday afternoon at the request of U.S. authorities, and a passenger was taken into custody.

Not the first time this week a transatlantic flight has been diverted to Montreal.

this is gross stupidity. who pays for this? the airline? if we were on the ball or even close to it, the airline would've been notified prior to takeoff to avoid he huge expense of landing, refueling where perhaps the carrier has no fuel contract etc, etc. no to mention the pain in the ass to the pax...who were screened for "safety purposes"...my arse. that is a complete crock of crap.Comment
