From today, Iranian commercial aircraft will be denied refuelling in the UK, UAE and Germany; the UAE initially denied this, but it has since been confirmed (although, presumably that is a more surmountable problem, since Iranian airlines can easily upload enough for both legs of the flight at their airports of origin in Iran).
Apparently, there is a limit in the value of fuel sold to Iranian airlines. Mahan Airlines will also be affected. It's not immediately clear why other EU countries, like the Netherlands, Austria and Sweden are not imposing sanctions. It can be expected that Iran will impose its own sanctions in return, so expect bmi, LH and EK to be stopped from flying to Tehran.
