  • Plane flipped by crosswinds

I was spotting at my local airport in some strong crosswinds yesterday. I looked over and watched this poor 150 have her tie down straps snapped by the wind and get pushed up on her nose. The owner was only able to get the plane back on the ground by attaching it to his truck and pulling it down. As you can see in the photo it looks like she will need some repairs. Anyone seen this happen before?

In some of the windy airports, like wellington, light planes gain lift because of the winds and flip. I honestlly feel bad for the owners of the planes, as repairs are probably expensive, but the plane looks amusing when upside-down
Everything that say is in my opinion, a screener might dissagree
If you are dissapointed of yourself, look at me and feel better.
