Air Canada flight crashes on runway in Halifax

Taking a look is fine, continuing into the ground 1000ft + short of the runway is not.

Sometime those damn FBW computers decide that it's time to land (WIDN?) and there's no over riding them. Or maybe they thought the auto throttles were on and we're too busy looking for ground contact to bother with airspeed indications...at least it wasn't clear and a million like at SFO.
