  • Doubts about problems with similar angles

The first of the two popular photos I uploaded yesterday: https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php? Id=11271836 rejected with a similar type, the second one: https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php? Id=11271859 was rejected on the grounds of Horizon unlevel. What puzzled me is that the appeal of the first one was rejected by me. This is obviously two completely different angle types!

No, these would be considered similar. Usually need to be different sides/more than 90-degrees of difference to not be considered similar.

I understand and respect your rules, but the second one was rejected. I think my complaint in the first one should not conflict with similar types!

Although I agree they are too similar to warrant having 2 images under the same registration I agree that it is a little unfair to be rejecting both similar photos, especially in a context like this where it is understandable that someone may feel like the second image is a "front on" and thus warranting another upload. Just my 2 cents.

        - edit, I believe the appeal should not be rejected, however, it is a little bizarre to reject a photo for being too similar with another photo that was rejected (and thus is not in the DB and hence cannot be similar).

I also think that since the second one was rejected because of the horizon problem, the appeal of the first one should not be rejected. Thank you!
