Just received one rejection which I don't fully understand. The rejection reason is "Too much or too little contrast", but as far as I can see on my end, the photo is similar to exposure, contrast etc. as many of my accepted photos (I have checked the histogram and can't see anything wrong). Would it be worth appealing this one?

Contrast is a bit flat, though would have been ok for me. Appeal would have a 50/50 chance imho.
Alright, thank you for your input, Dana. I'll think it over a bit and then decide what I'll do. This was a second rejection in short time after a fairly long clean period, so I'm wondering if something in my workflow is out of whack.

I don't think there's too much 'out of whack' with this photo
I would like to have a second opinion regarding another rejection. I had the following photo rejected for "Bad Color (Over/Under Saturation, Hue)".
I can't see the problem on my end, and honestly I don't know how to make it any better, it looks good to me. When I compare it to one of my accepted photos from the same batch, taken roughly at the same time and conditions, it looks similar to me regarding color/hue/saturation to the rejected one. I'd appreciate some feedback.

probably, but i am not sure if it is completely fixable.
Should be. The original has a slight yellow tint due to the low sun. I merely adjusted the white balance as I thought it'd be too yellow straight from the camera.
Alright, finally had some time to sit down and take another look at this. How about now? It should be better, I think. It's now closer to the original and shouldn't be blue/cyan anymore. A tad yellow, maybe, but then again it's a low sun situation.
