RJ is tricky. I don't think it's backlit, but the tail and rear of the fuselage aren't getting any sunlight.

I guess it’s because sunlight was approximately from aircrafts face side, so it didn't get to rear parts. But in my opinion it shouldn’t get rejection of backlit.

So the reason the rear of the RJ is dark is actually because the conditions were partly cloudy. The rear was slightly covered by a cloud, but hoping it’s not an issue.
