  • Prescreening/ Editing Advice

    Good morning.

I am asking for advice on what is wrong with this photo, as I received information that the contrast is too high or too low. I read a bit about this category of rejections and became confused. The conditions were good, the sky was almost cloudless and there was no fog. I look at the histogram and don't see anything wrong, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe one of you can advise.

    Regards

Not much. In this photo, the light is hitting the aircraft on the front (instead of the side), so there is little hope of fixing it for JP standards. There just isn't enough contrast between the aircraft and the background. You could try increasing the contrast, but it would still be a borderline contrast rejection.

                Thank you for your rating.

what should I do to improve photos 2,3,4 or are they beyond saving?

ps. do you know how to edit the thread title?

Depending on the quality of the originals, might be fixable with better edits.

Nose is a bit soft, and editing halos now visible.

                              Overprocessed, borderline soft.
