In addition to that I also have this CRJ in similar light-conditions so I assume this needs 'night shot' aswell, correct? I'm also unsure if its too dark or too soft.

Both are a bit soft (especially the second), but would otherwise be ok for me. Night shot can be used for both.

    • Hey dlowwa,

Thanks a lot for your feedback .
I gave the ADAC a touch more sharpness and put it in the queue.

      • Hello everyone,

A feedback on this picture would be great. I'm a little worried about heat haze / softness and horizon on this one .

Indeed: soft, slightly heat hazed and slightly leaning to the right

          • Hello everybody,

As the last version of this picture had too noticable issues with softness and exposure as well, I now tried a slightly wider crop and a lower resolution. Does this hide the softness enough?
Of course a feedback concerning the exposure-problem or other flaws is welcome as well.

              • Hello everyone,

I am not sure about the horizon on this one. I used the pole that holds captain-side main gear as a reference but I'm not sure if that works for this shot. A feedback concerning other possible issues is also welcome of course . Would this one need the 'vintage/warbird'-category?

try to use a vertical in the centre of the photo as reference. The photo is slightly leaning to the right.

                  • Hello everyone,

I'm also not sure about the horizon on these pictures, so a feedback on the horizon as well as other possible problems would be great. I also realized that nearly all of my photos seem to be at least borderline soft, so a look on that might be helpful.
Furthermore I'm almost sure that the business jet in the foreground of the D-ATCG is a problem but I tought it might be worth asking for that here in the forum.

Horizon looks ok to me for these. Yes, foreground distracting on 3, but not sure would be immediate rejection.

I decided to give #3 a chance, worst thing that can happen is a rejection ...

                                1) a bit harsh contrast
                                2) soft, noise, aircraft slightly too high in the frame
