a question, how does one tell that compression is present? i remember it was due to banding in the sky but are there other ways too? regards and ty for the advice

Compression artifacts visible pretty much everywhere in the image where there is a transition line.

Still borderline for soft/blurry tail.

hope the tarco air is okay too
