Has Boeing started to work on the frame for Delta's first -LR? What routes will the -LR fly? Will it start on JFK-BOM or ATL-PVG. I just checked Boeings charts and it says the max range of the -ER with MTOW is less than the distance from ATL-PVG. Will this be weight restricted? Any aircraft get painted recently?

Will probably start on ATL-MCO for some proving/training flights.

I just checked Boeings charts and it says the max range with MTOW is less than the distance from ATL-PVG.

Where the hell did you get that number? The 77L is the longest-range plane in the world, ATL-PVG is a short haul flight for that plane.

It will be JFK-BOM. The 1st frame is due sometime in March with N701DL being the Reg. #

Delta's first 77L flight will be flight DL110 from ATL to LAX on Mar. 8th. The 77L should be getting painted in the next week or so for delivery at the end of February to Delta.
