I wish I could go out to LAX and see all the heavies. But I am out in North Carolina stuck with Charlotte and Atlanta. When I was in ATL, I saw 1 Korean 744 and 1 Delta 777. LAX sees a lot more than that.

I saw the new scheme for the fist time when I was at JFK and LAS a few weeks ago and I have to say that I actually like it and it looks even better when you see it for real. The wingletted 757's look real nice, but am gutted that I didn't manage to get a photo and only a crappy CRJ.

I think there actually #1, with American as #2. Delta use to be #2 with AA as #1, but when American returned the ex-TWA Birds, which I still think they should have kept and converted for TATL Service oh well that's why Airplane Junkies don't run the airlines. Even though after college I would like to get into Airline Management.John Poshepny

The Song birds are completely done? Wow. The Ron Allen 757s and 767s are going to take longer becase there are a lot of them. When I was in Atlanta on Nov. 1st, there were a bunch, including two that taxied to the runway behind me. I think the first 777 we will see in the new colors will be the 777LR that is being recieved in February.

The first 777 in the new colors will indeed be the first 77L, reason being that the current 777 is still stretched so thin that there's simply no time to do any repainting.
I was never good at noting regos, but I last a Song 757 in ATL December 20th, and yesterday I saw another 738/w with the new colors, gotta see if I actually wrote down the rego.
