  • Yoke and service on board

Hi everyone! I have two questions to wich I couldn't find comprehensive answers on the web: The first one:
Which functions have the buttons located in an airliners' yoke? I'm most interested in 777 yoke.
The second question is about service on board. What kind of influence have the pilots on it? I mean do they decide when to start with the snack, dinner, movie and so on or it's just the job of the cabin crew that decide everything and pilots are not interested on it? Thank you guys!

Some buttos that are almost always present in a yoke are:
    Autopilot disconnect.
    PTT (push-to-talk).
    Elevator trim.
