The attached photo - want to get your opinion? Would it be rejected for being soft and is there a contrast rejection with the grey aircraft + grey-ish terminal background?

Yes, there are multiple quality issues that would preclude this from ever being accepted.
Trying to learn still. Can you help me with what the bigger rejections might be?
- A350: Soft, contrast, bad exposure?
- B777: Contrast, exposure?
Are there other glaring items that I should be aware of on these?
Not a screener but:
-A350 would be dusty (dirty) - the spot at the top and overprocessed because of the halos around the aircraft
-B777 would be not centered, over processed because of editing halos again, around the aircraft, exposure
This got rejected for being backlit and for having too much/too little contrast. Would the photo attached be better on the contrast rejection? I'm struggling a bit with the backlit rejection since the sun was just about directly above/slightly behind me when I took this photo at ~130PM. Is this something that I could appeal?
