Thanks, is there any way to fix the blurrienes? Or are 3 and 4 for the personal collection?

Both would be rejected for soft/blurry (tail), and color (purple fringing).

Hmm, I am seeing this in a lot of my other photos... Is this a gear issue? Is there some way to fix it?

If you are referring to the purple fringing, then yes, this is more often an issue with lower-end lenses, especially when used at their extreme limits (i.e. wide open aperture, and max zoom). Checking the exif on your shots, the former applies, so stopping down from F/5 will likely see some improvements. You will see purple fringing on most lenses actually, though it shouldn't be so strong that you can see it at such low-resolution images. As I said earlier, most editing programs will have a feature to address this issue, and there may even be an in-camera setting for it. I usually correct any for my own images when converting from RAW to jpeg.

As for the blurriness, that's a lot harder to pinpoint the cause. It could be a lens flaw (decentering, etc..) or something else. It seems to be on the left side in all the images, so that might be a clue.

I really like these Air Canda photos, but the tail area is blurry. Is there anyway I can crop the tail off without it being rejected for a part cut off?

As for the blurieness, I am still not sure as the cause. Might be a lense prolem.

As for the purple fringing, I am sure check the correction off in lr, but it still shows up. I guess some more reasearch and a little practice is needed to fix the problem.

Alright, good news for my lens. I found a photo that I had taken quickly of a DH8D today, and it appears that the left side is sharp and the right side is not. The right side is further away... Perhaps if I open up the aperture I will get better results. Click image for larger version

You could try a close crop of the nose.
