Some compression showing in the sky, but other than that, should be ok.

A couple of quick questions before I submit these in addition to a quality check. I believe both of these qualify as hot and want to submit them as such.

This is a brand new registration to JP and will be submitted as so. I want to make sure it's of standard acceptance criteria. Does this feel too dark?

My question on this second one is if it indeed qualifies as hot. I was reading the upload guidelines for hot photos and found this language (emphasis mine).

          3. Any change to the colour scheme (for example: removal of a special scheme, new stickers) or to the aircraft itself (Winglets, Sharklets) - Note that this is only valid for active aircraft
The 4 photos of N995GH in the database do not have the new blended winglets. Does this addition qualify this for modification as that subsection states? Also note this plane is a very light grey and not white when looking at it.

Thanks Dana, did a slight lightening on N1Y to be safe. Both have been added to the DB.

Thoughts on these 3? Is there enough acceptable contrast on the UA 772? I caught a thin layer of clouds over the sun on that one.

                  1. borderline compression/contrast
                  2-3 compression, vignetting

Hmm. Gonna have to figure out what’s going on with the compression and vignetting. Have not had issues with either of those problems until lately. Thanks for the notes.

Likely related to save and lens settings, respectively.

Compression seems easiest. I must have ticked down a notch in export quality or something. For vignetting, I was using the standard profile correction for the lens I shot with in LR which has yielded great results so far. Wondering if the light was just SO harsh that it's adding more than that's able to correct out. Certainly possible. Thanks again, Dana.

A few more to check out. Contrast is my biggest concern, but hoping I got it right with those wonderful clouds in the background.

Yes, all borderline for contrast. Any time the background is as bright or brighter than the aircraft, you're going to have issues.

Some more photos. I'm really thankful for you checking these out. I'm guessing a couple of these are again pushing those boundaries as far as contrast against the sky is concerned, but that's why they're going in here instead of the queue upfront.

All are somewhat compressed, and the last also has pretty strong vignetting.
