Would you say this photo is too close to backlit to be acceptable? I went back to the aircraft a few times and this was the best light I could get

It is perfect, if you can see shadows reflected over the tail it means that the sun hit more by this side.

I´m not a screener but in my opinion..

1) Cut off
2) Contrast
3) Cut off and borderline soft
4) Contrast
5) Horizon and borderline contrast
