Some thoughts, bundesliga (german top division) has played with the Adidas ball since new year 09/10 which is used in the world cup, all players AFAIK in the german team plays in
bundesliga, many players shoot over the goal, the ball seem to want to fly.
Klose was very clumpsy on the 2nd yellow card, the serbs lost their first game against the best african team, Ghana which got a serb coach which is a very good friend of the serbian coach.
Ghana won the U21 world cup earlier this year and was in the final of the african cup, the winner Egypt didnīt qualify.

Me and my mates came up with a solution to diving.
You have an extra official, whos an expert at marshal arts or something of the similar, Whenever someone dives to the ground clutching their face, the official then goes and gives them a reason to clutch their face.

Just something to that effect.

Nothing like a good dive to get a free kick or penalty. Surely though the ref must look a bit quizzical when the player who, 30 seconds ago was rolling around in agony clutching a multiply fractured leg then gets up and fires in a rocket ship of a shot with the same leg.

The italians didnt play bad, by no means were they bad, its just the New Zealand keeper had a spectacular match.

The Slovakia goal against us was offside, you win some you lose some. It was shocking defense anyway.

But the Italians played poorly for the defending champs. They didnt create many meaningful opportunities, Yes Paston made some great saves, but the fact remains the Italians just went to ground at every opportunity holding their head with their hands as if they had been punched in the face.

And am I the only one baffled why Ivory coast wanted Kaka sent off in the last 5 minutes. Surely its in their best interests to have him play against Portugal as Portugal losing to Brazil by a big margin helps the Ivory Coast get into the next round.

Over the weekend
Cameroon - Denmark was a great game.
VERY poor attitude by the Italians, once again
Portugal can say thank you to the Ivory coast for that red card.

Many of the bigger teams are just a disgrace this year.

The Golf metal goes to the French, but also England, Germany and Italy should have stayed at home. I hope they all go home after 3 games.

Indeed, the worst refereeing in the tournament so far. Fabiano played hand before his 2nd goal, lied to the ref about it and then later claimed it was "The hand of God", the ref missed 2 clear red cards for the Ivory Coast, and the yellow-red card for Kaka was just ridiculous. If anything, his opponent should've been sent of for bad acting.

Oh well, the days go on, and the refs get worse and worse each day. And when the final comes around, it will probably end after 7 penalties and 13 red cards .
