Hi all. I am here to seek help on my recently rejected photo. It was initially rejected for softness through normal screening but then rejected for backlit through an appeal attempt. I find this unfair as screeners should initially state the full reason of rejection through normal screening instead of just making it up right after. Photo attached below.
Additionally, I find this photo very sharp, as the plane was taken very close up, with the sharpness sliders adjusted to the max on LrC. I'm aware of slight toplit/backlit, but it still seemed acceptable. I have gotten other images with similar angle and lighting successfully accepted in the same batch of photos. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

I am so confused about how this shot was rejected. It should be 100% accept anyway in my opinion.

Rejected photos for 'low quality'
Recently I submitted five photos to the queue to be screened. At around place ~16k in the queue I got an email telling me all the photos have been rejected for quote "low quality", and "not meeting our criteria". For two photos this was understandable, the angle and lighting conditions weren't quite right. However, the other three seem of good quality and to me look like they do meet the criteria. I did not get any hint to what I did wrong in these images and would like feedback on them to know how I can adjust them in order for them to meet the criteria, or avoid such mistakes in the future. The mail they sent does not help me to improve my photos or give any concrete reason as to why they have been rejected by the screening team.
Below are three of the five images I submitted which I think should match the criteria. What have I done wrong?

Undersharpened Soft rejection help
The attached 5 photos were all rejected for under-sharpened soft. For all these photos I used Sharpening settings at 150, detail at 100, radius at 1.5, and masking between 75-85. Would appreciate advice on what to do in the future and whether these are worth appealing. Thanks...

I recently submitted a photo for review, but it was unfortunately rejected. I’m having a bit of trouble understanding the reason behind this decision and would appreciate any insights or advice you could provide.
The photo in question is of a UPS cargo airplane in flight, captured during nighttime or twilight hours. The aircraft is in sharp focus against a blurred background, suggesting motion. The landing gear is partially extended, indicating that the plane is either taking off or landing. The UPS logo and “Worldwide Services” text are clearly visible on the fuselage.
Despite selecting the ‘night shot’ option during submission, my photo was still rejected. Could anyone help me understand why this might be the case? I’m eager to learn and improve my photography skills, and your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Pre-screening request: The nosewheel is slightly obstructed, would this still possibly be accepted? (Only a quick preliminary edit has been put on for the sake of this pre-screening). Thank you!
