it is another cloudy shot, but this time, the background clouds were at least dark enough.

Very borderline for dark/contrast. Not sure it can be improved with editing.

Regarding contrast you mean weather caused contrast, or normal adjustible contrast?

Anything borderline usually means it's fixable.

Yes, the bulls were cropped a lot

It is from an airshow with not much great weather conditions, but I'd love to get at least some FB formations accepted.
And what about the 262?
Yes may be a bit soft, but could the rarity of the plane be somehow considered?

Regarding Flying Bulls I wanted to show at least a bit of smoke without forcing the crop being too wide.

I meant the horizontal crop is off, wingtip of aircraft on the right is farther from the edge of the photo than the wingtip of the aircraft on the left. Smoke is good.
