I am looking for some advice on attached photos. My main concerns are noise/undersharpening on first and contrast on second. Better to keep those for private collection?
    1. soft/blurry. not fixable
    2. soft, contrast. not fixable.

    • Hello,

I have some difficulties to process photo of E190 attached later on this post.

It was firstly rejected for being undersharpened and wrong categories, after some adjustment it was rejected for being oversharpened and contrast.

As I like the livery, I have started again and now I want to ask for pre-screening, questions are especially

      - is it sharp enougth (but not oversharpened)?
      - is contrast sufficient or better to keed the photo for personal collection?

Thank you for your response, photo is attached below.

Contrast is borderline, and sharpening is uneven (oversharpened towards the front, soft towards the tail). Not sure how easy it would be to fix without knowing the quality of the original.

If I send you original via PM, are you willing to check it?

            • Hi,

I need a little help with this rejected photo:

JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 6 million screened photos online!

Rejection reason is JPEG Compression. Is there any way how to fix it? Should I edit photo again from scratch? And where on the photo is compression most visible?

              Thank you for your help,

              Kind regards
              Marian

                Sky is quite heavily compressed.

Thank you for your reply. I have processed another photo from sequence, is it somehow better or still compressed sky?

EDIT. For some reason, I get error when trying to add attachment, so I had to upload photo on other source here:

Sorry for that, hope link works.

Very soft/compressed. Don't think the quality is really there.

Photo was first rejected for contrast and soft. After adjustments, it is now rejected for soft. I need a little help to identify which parts are soft? Should I add some more extra sharpening in postprocessing, or better to keep this one for personal collection and maybe try another image from batch?

Thank you for help and time

Whole aircraft, but especially towards the tail.

I have re-checked the photo but it appears fine to me. Can you help me to identify soft spots? Is it towards the tail again?

                          Thank you

Soft towards the edges. Would have been a rejection for me.

Thank you for your help. I have added some extra sharpening (as well to my second rejected photo). New edits are attached below. Do you think they are sharp enough now?

                              Kind regards

Not sure the quality's really there on the first. Looks compressed/oversharpened/soft in various places.

Definitely not there in the second, I would give up on that one.
